Don Cazayoux
A native of New Roads, Louisiana, Don Cazayoux is a former U.S. Attorney, congressman and state representative. After earning a law degree from Georgetown University, he spent more than 20 years as a civil and criminal litigator.
Don’s focus is on consumer cases involving industrial accidents and accidents that result in death or severe disabilities, as well as white-collar criminal defense. His substantial trial experience includes murder prosecutions, federal white-collar criminal cases and both state and federal injury claims.
During his tenure as U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana, Don distinguished himself in the fight against fraudulent health care and disaster-related claims, and served as executive director of the National Center for Disaster Fraud. He led several high-profile cases involving public corruption, corporate fraud, whistleblower cases and criminal and civil environmental enforcements.
